At Hush Cannabis Club we pride ourselves on our extensive collection of cannabis and cannabis concentrates. We’ve accomplished this, in part, due to the many unique brands that we’ve been able to partner with, each with new and exciting cannabis products to offer. One of these brands is Roots and Remedy, which specializes in cannabis tinctures.
Cannabis Oil Tinctures
A Roots and Remedy specialty is their CBD MCT oil tincture. CBD is a great option for customers suffering from health issues such as pain, epilepsy, anxiety, or insomnia. Its full body relaxation relieves tension and stress, allowing users to find some much-needed rest. Each bottle is filled with 30mL of cannabis oil, with 1,000mg of CBD in each tincture. Roots and Remedy’s cannabis oil tinctures are built to last, but for best results they should be stored in an area that is both cool and dry.
Using Cannabis Oil Tinctures
Before use, customers should always shake up their cannabis tincture in order to ensure an even mixture of CBD to liquid. Next, fill the dropper with the proper dosage. With Roots and Remedy products, each serving can be measured out in milliliters. Then, squeeze the dropper underneath your tongue. The cannabis oil should be held in the mouth for up to three minutes, though rubbing it into the tissues of your mouth will help increase absorption. The final step is to swallow whatever liquid remains in your mouth.
At Hush Cannabis Club, we recommend new users start off with only 1-2 drops. Allow at least 60 minutes for the cannabis oil tincture to take effect, and if needed increase dosage 1-2 drops at a time. For best results, we recommend users take their cannabis tincture with food.
How Cannabis Tinctures Work
Most cannabis customers are used to taking their marijuana dosage either through smoking or eating, but the cannabis tincture method of holding liquid in your mouth can also be just as effective. Cannabis oil tinctures are produced by soaking marijuana plants within a solvent such as alcohol or a food-grade oil for a number of weeks. This produces a cannabis extract that is perfect for oral consumption. Within the mouth there are capillaries located in the cheeks, gums, and under the tongue. These capillaries are highly effective at transferring a cannabis oil tincture into the bloodstream, which is why we suggest rubbing the oil into the soft tissues of your mouth when dosing with cannabis tinctures in order to promote absorption.
